What you’ll be doing...

The Platform & Ecosystems team is a part of the Customer Experience organization within Verizon’s Consumer business unit. Our mission is to drive seamless Business Process Management and Business workflow optimization that enables acceleration. The benefits to the enterprise include reuse of assets for speed to market, fault tolerance, and iconic scale. We also seek to enable visual development capabilities reducing dependencies on code to develop and deploy applications. To deliver on these objectives, we are going to have dedicated teams and are looking to have dedicated product owners.

This position is an integral part of the Customer Experience Technology Enablement Team and will work with functional leaders. This is a senior analyst position responsible for working as a Product Owner capable of creating vision for the product design oriented towards driving seamless end-user experience.  

• Create Product Roadmap supporting product evolution to fit the business needs

• Drive the team towards the Product vision to increase adoption by understanding the integrated ecosystem and deliverable to drive value.

• Developing a team vision and communicating with all stakeholders to achieve the goals and ensure the success with the product in alignment with business objectives.

• Designing Product considering aspects of industrial case-studies to deliver long term visionary product 

• Perform feasibility analysis by partnering with the relevant stakeholders and propose designs that can be delivered as MVP inline with the roadmap strategies

• Creating the list of backlog items and prioritizing based on the overall strategy and business objectives including the identification of dependencies to drive proper delivery sequencing.

• Evaluating the design success through standard measures and voice of customers

• Facilitating cross-team and-function communication to reduce project handoff cycle time and shorten delivery timelines.

• Assisting team members with driving end-to-end processes and solutions to successfully complete large impactful programs on time with well-managed scopes.

• Delivering concise storyline and strategy updates.

• Understanding and reporting of project and program delivery concepts, such as burndown rates, delivery velocity, release planning, and forecasting.

• Conducting analysis and research to identify bottlenecks, process improvements or areas of opportunity.

• Present findings & product recommendations to executive leaderships

• Working closely with stakeholders across channels by understand the underlying technology, AI-Capabilities and predictive modeling

What we’re looking for...

You'll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Higher qualification

• Four or more years of relevant work experience.

• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle, specifically partnering directly with development teams in an agile format to produce application capabilities required by the business.

• Experience in working with Data Modelling

• Experience in Product Owner Role 

• Experience in requirements gathering and development of proto-types with detailed business requirements.

• Experience in collaborating with multiple teams driving profitability and production adoption

Even better if you have one or more of the following...

• Experience in wireless and / or wireline telecom background.

• Knowledge of Strategic Offers, marketing and telecom service sector will be an added advantage

• Skills to create wireframes for demonstrating the product capabilities

• Experience in data analytics & reports to enable data-driven decisions

• Agile certifications would be a value add
