Should have exposure in Windows L1 server support with an exposure in L2 support or who have exposure in L1 server support with an knowledge in L2 support
- Should have good communication and customer interaction skills.

- Very good Troubleshooting & Analytical skills.
- Very Good Knowledge on Windows & UNIX OS.
- Working Knowledge on Oracle & SQL Database.
- Good Understanding of virtualization technology
- Provide general and routine technical support for windows Operating Systems.
- Experience with installation, patching, configuration, and updates to operating systems.
- Support Non-OS vendor application, should have the ability to research, analyze, and resolve problems effectively to meet established performance metrics.
- Maintain documented (e.g. Disaster Recovery) procedures for Windows Infrastructure.
- Collaborates and contributes with team members, software vendors, and other technical staff to develop, design, implement, and continuously improve systems.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes.
- May require on-call availability and may require working during non-business hours and on weekends.
- Very Good Knowledge on ITIL framework.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Administration and Troubleshooting of Windows 2003 servers, DHCP, DNS, IIS, ISA, Antivirus.
- Implementation, administration of Active Directory and Group Policies.
- Good Understanding of virtualization technology
- Administration and Troubleshooting of Microsoft ISA Proxy Server.
- Experience on VMware ESX 3.0, 3.5 and on V sphere would be preferable.
- Good hands on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX server environment.
- Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
- Should be able to research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks.
- Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary.
- Perform regular file archival and purge as necessary.
- Collaborates and contributes with team members, software vendors, and other technical staff to develop, design, implement, and continuously improve systems.
- Repair and recover from hardware or software failures. Coordinate and communicate with impacted teams.
- Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure / add new services as necessary.
- Develop and Maintain operational, configuration, or other procedures.
- Perform periodic performance reporting to support capacity planning.
- Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required.
- Good Knowledge in script languages.
- Maintain data center environmental and monitoring equipment.
- Very Good Knowledge on ITIL framework.
