Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 8+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 7+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering or related work experience.

As the “Power Management IC (PMIC) Design Lead” for India, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and advancing our cutting-edge PMIC system, post silicon and circuit solutions. Leveraging your expert knowledge, you will drive the research, design, and development of critical hardware components at the chipset and feature levels. Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

  • Strategic Direction:

   - Leverages expert knowledge of PMIC Systems to direct and drive the research, design, and development of highly critical hardware and software solutions at the chipset and/or feature level.

   - Communicate guidelines for power management functions and supporting software, ensuring alignment with highly critical chipset level requirements.

  • Technical Leadership:

   - Direct test platform HW/SW development, test planning, and post-silicon verification. Ensure optimal performance and efficiency.

   - Implement system-level triage guidelines across teams, fostering collaborative problem-solving

   - Directs and communicates guidelines for power management products, functions, and supporting software in that meet highly critical chipset level requirements.

  • Expertise:

   - Apply your expertise in power electronics (switch mode and linear), high bandwidth/low latency control interfaces, thermal analysis, power distribution networks, firmware coding, Python (or similar scripting languages), PCB layout, and construction.

   - Navigate battery chemistry and industry standard interfaces to address complex challenges.

  • Design Integration:

   - Oversee the implementation of PCB schematics and design layouts.

   - Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure successful integration and design completion.

  • Documentation:

   - Communicate clear guidelines across teams for writing detailed technical documentation.

   - Foster a culture of thorough documentation to enhance knowledge sharing and project continuity.

Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science

- Experience:

   - Proven track record in PMIC design, including hands-on experience with power electronics and system-level design.

   - Familiarity with Python or similar scripting languages.

   - Strong understanding of PCB layout and construction.

   - Knowledge of battery chemistry and industry standards.

- Leadership Skills

   - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

   - Ability to lead and inspire technical teams.

   - Strategic thinking and problem-solving mindset.

Requirements and skills

  • Overall 18+ years of relevant industry experience
  • In depth knowledge of power management IC (PMIC) design
  • Data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Outstanding communication and people skills
