Mainframe Developer - Cobol programming
Job Description:
• Mainframe developer with experience in Application development/maintenance
• Very good knowledge and hands-on experience on application programming in PL1/Cobol, DB2, JCL, CICS.
• Knowledge in any frontend technologies like Java, .net is an added advantage.
• Knowledge in CICS Web services and APIs is an added advantage
• Should be responsible for taking end-to-end ownership of the system, adhering to ITIL standards and best practices thereby ensuring high customer satisfaction levels by following the process and innovative in providing the cost-efficient solutions.
• Ability to work independently and taking ownership of the tasks and work as a team member and individual contributor.
• Competent enough in acquiring the Business knowledge to provide customer centric solutions to maintain high customer focus.
• Could venture as a Business analyst if need arises.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with problem solving and analytical skills
