Senior Engineer (Office 365)
Position Name: SME: Senior Engineer (Office 365) Level- L3
Experience: 6+ Year
Job Location: Vashi, Mumbai
Responsibilities:-
- Act as technical expert on Office 365 platform
- Provide 3rd level support for Office 365, related technologies, Active Directory & Active
- Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Exchange, Skype, SharePoint and OneDrive
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to manage\support the Office 365 environment
- Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex problems
- Prepare process and technical documentation
- Participate in Design, plan and implement Office 365 solutions
- Provide improvement opportunities and recommendations
- Perform tool evaluation and produce recommendations
- Work with Global IT support groups, OEMs, vendors, partners and service providers
- Provide training to operations team (L1/L2)
- Learn and keep up-to-date with the latest technology products
Skill Profile:
- Experience delivering a successful Office 365 migration
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server and core elements: Active Directory, Federation Services, DNS, High Availability and Disaster Recovery
- Experience in supporting Skype for Business, SharePoint, OneDrive on Office 365
- Experience with Microsoft PowerShell
- Experience with Microsoft ADFS and SAML Authentication
- Strong knowledge and experience on Microsoft Azure and related technologies
- Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing
- Proven ability to document technical information for training, technical operations run books, and knowledgebase
- Proven ability to create technical design documentation using MS Visio
- Strong analytical skills for solving technical issues, isolation of application / network performance / server / storage issues
- Proven ability to work cross functional with application, network, security and workplace teams
- Strong understanding of all current technologies and ability to ramp quickly on emerging technologies
- MCSA/MCSE Office 365
- Professional certification on Azure/AWS – preferred
- Windows / Linux certification – would be an advantage
- ITIL certification – would be an advantage
