In this role, You will work on Creating and driving the architecture vision for technologies supporting CI/CD and Zero Ops strategy. You will also drive the build of best in class Monitoring platform and work with application team to come up with improvement plan for DevOps Maturity.
Why this Job Matters The purpose of the role is to bring in DevOps toolset , Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline) and meet the customer's requirements, and to ensure that they are architecturally compliant. Specifically the role is accountable for:
  • Understanding, selecting and applying waterfall, Agile and DevOps software engineering methodologies as appropriate, and coaching team to adopt these
  • Driving reuse of technology to ensure efficiency and improve velocity
  • Collaborating with designers , developers , Ops team and driving improvements
  • Reviewing the current estate and look for improvements in Automatic Monitoring and Alerting.
  • Driving architecture vision to create Zero Ops.
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities to enhance team's ways of working, operations and processes.
What I'll be doing your accountabilities Skills required for the job
  • Understanding customer requirements and project KPIs
  • Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure
  • Managing stakeholders and external interfaces
  • Setting up tools and required infrastructure for DevOps Set up.
  • Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation
  • Have the technical skill to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the project.
  • Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
  • Guide DevOps team that provides tooling and guidelines in technology operations with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage
  • Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible
  • Identifying and deploying security measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management
  • Incidence management and root cause analysis
  • Coordination and communication within the team and with customers
  • Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools
  • Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline)
  • Mentoring and guiding the team members
  • Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs
  • Managing periodic reporting on the progress to the management and the customer
  • Understand how to implement DevOps and work in an agile way / Versioning / Automation / Defect Management.
  • Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
  • Excellent understanding of Ruby, Python, Perl, and Java ( 2 or more).
  • Working Exp on RDBMS.
  • Excellent troubleshooting/Debugging skills
  • Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services
  • Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles
  • Working with any public cloud DevOps tool set.
  • CI/CD Implementation: GitLab, Jenkins, Maven,Ansible,SonarCube,Nexus
  • Experience in working on DevOps and Monitoring tools e.g JIRA , Jenkins , ELK, Splunk , Dynatrrace
  • Experience in SAP Sucessfactor will be a plus
