  • Conceptual  knowledge of Information Technology

  • Knowledge on IT Asset Management and Discovery Tools
  • Understanding of Different Hardware Devices models and emerging market trends from Hardware
  • Experience interpreting licensing terms and conditions.
  • Capable to establishing Liaison with suppliers and vendors.
  • Experience in Handling Asset database preferably in Service Now.
Roles & Responsibilities IT Hardware Asset Management
  • Input to asset management service by tracking the changes operated by the PROVIDER on the standard hardware and related to the day-to-day operations like break fix, failures etc.
  • Ensure accuracy of the IT asset data and adherence to compliance with all documented SOP's and work instructions.
  • Activities regarding the assets in the AMDB (Asset Management Database):
    • Create: Create the asset record in AMDB with all relevant information (financials, life-cycle state, location, etc.) and associate the assets, if necessary, against their PO
    • Manage: Manage asset attributes upon resolution of an incident and completion of a service request or work order
    • Dispose: Mark the asset as "retired” in the AMDB and update the asset record with proof of retirement
  • Safeguard data quality and accuracy by:
    • Running and checking recurring reports (leveraging physical inventory, discovery inventory, invoicing, ticketing data, etc…) to demonstrate accuracy and quality of assets data
    • Proposing and running associated improvement plans
  • Provide an inventory of equipment
  • Provide a monthly inventory report of end-user devices
  • Update asset management information to reflect the decommissioning of the hardware and software assets and licenses
  • Leverage discovery tools as much as possible to enable data quality management and reporting
IT Software Asset Management
  • Software request for fulfillment from receiving the ServiceDesk request to execute necessary tasks to get software approved and pushed via SCCM
  • Get the quotes from vendors, place orders in purchasing platform, update the orders status, retrieve license keys
  • Submits requests for approved software to be packaged for SCCM deployment
  • Coordinates all license related activities:
  • update license information in database (AMDB)
  • check end user licensing when computer build determines licensed software to be installed
  • provide the installations instructions to on-site support
  • facilitate software license recovery for off-boards
  • Track possible optimizations of the software installed base and propose campaigns for license optimization, installation and de-installation based on the usages.
  • Supports the users for high-profile renewals facilitating them the quote and ordering process
