Job Description

Role Proficiency:Level of Proficiency:Design innovative end-to-end user experiences that optimize user needs across two or more platforms under the guidance of UX Specialist/ Lead IIOutcomes:1.      Take ideas and concepts, and visualize them in such a way that they are communicated effectively and compellingly for internal leaders, partners and customers 2.      Turn visions into concepts and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity, despite complexity of the system 3.      Directly responsible for delivering User Experience visions, UI specifications, wireframes and visual designs for projects. 4.      Function as part of a cross-functional design team and employ a user-centric design methodology to develop new and derivative user interface designs for web and mobile applications.  5.      Collaborate effectively with other designers, UI Architect, Product management and Development team. 6.      Assists lead to mentor and support team 7.      Works on moderately complex projects/tasks. 8.      Assists collaboration with business development, research and prototyping, and product management to define the next generations of business concepts and solutions 9.      Collects, reviews, and may assist in refining client requirements. 10.  Communicates analysis, recommendations, and potential design solutions verbally and through documentation to the project team. 11.  Assists team to stay on top of new trends in usability. 12.  Assist in researching best practices in Web, Desktop and Mobile application design. 13.  Assists team in adhering to standards and processes. 14. Assists team to collect UX metrics to measure and track the impact of design changes on user experience.Measures of Outcomes:Measures:1.      Adherence to project schedule / timelines 2.      On time completion of mandatory compliance trainings 3.      Adherence to Processes and Standards 4.      Completion of all mandatory training requirementsOutputs Expected:User Research:Participate in user studies and research Documenting user stories and problem statements Information research through data collectionTesting:Execution of Concept and usability testing Design:Independently create UX designs Participate in brainstorming sessions on the design by working with other stakeholdersCustomer orientation:Get familiar with customer product branding schemesDocumentation:Make required documentation for the project releasesReporting:Status reporting to team leadTeam Work:Document the best practices for the team members Mentor junior team members Seeks information on issues impacting the progressProject Management:Assist in tracking progress of projects Assist in maintaining metricesSkill Examples:1.      Ability to provide UX/UI design and solutions 2.      Break down complex tasks into logical components 3.      Assists the lead in mentoring the team 4.      Share the best practices in team 5.      Follow high level of business etiquette in emails and other business communication 6.       Ask proactively for help and offer help proactively 7.      Ontime delivery with high quality 8.      Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities 9.      Proficiency with any of the usability testing tools or services 10.  Proficiency with any of the wireframing/prototyping toolsKnowledge Examples: 1.      Usability Design Principles 2.      Knowledge of Wireframes/Prototyping 3.      Data & Info Visualization 4.      Knowledge of appropriate Design Skills and Tools 5.      Knowledge of business domain 6.
