Lead systems engineer will be part of a team that implements, documents, and supports the storage infrastructure ecosystem.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Candidate will facilitate storage resource allotment and will maintain the fiber channel switches both Cisco and Brocade
  • To maintain SAN and NAS storage equipment.
  • Will work with vendors to fix issues.
  • Will set up and maintain documentation of the existing technology and solutions.
  • Candidate will create performance reports if necessary
  • Candidate will perform replication break/fix for both A-synchronous and Synchronous leg.
  • Candidate will maintain all replication monitoring scripts
  • Candidate should have had experience with disaster recovery technologies and data replication
Talents Needed For Success:
  • 4-5 year knowledge of network-attached storage (NAS, NetApp), storage-area network (SAN, EMC VMAX), fiber channel switches (Cisco), fiber channel switches (Brocade), EMC replication technologies, NetApp replication technologies
Secondary Skills
  • Knowledge of Linux administration a plus
  • Knowledge of scripting a plus
  • Knowledge of Cloud a plus
  • Knowledge Automation tools a plus
  • Knowledge of Nutanix a plus
  • Knowledge of VMware a plus
