We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team of US Background Verification Specialists. Calls are made to the applicants to seek information on employers, schools and references, for verifying applicable skills and experience.
The Background Verification Specialist provides support, service through analysis problem and resolving within given frame of time via Emails and Calls. The Background Specialist will support implementation and documentation of Background related queries. Will also be responsible in providing quality service and Turnaround time for resolution.
BGV Specialists, will resolve all queries relates to Level 1 and Level 2(To a certain extent) and will direct the level two queries to the Vendor. A good communication skill is critical.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Responsible to provide immediate assistances for queries related to Background Forms.
•Operates independently with minimal guidance by management.
•Resolve the Background insufficiency related issues via Emails and Calls.
•Interacting with Applicant, Vendors and HR recruitment department for resolving queries.
•Joining and Onboarding activities
•Verification of completeness of the documents, and clearance of insufficiencies in terms of statutory requirements.
•Vendor management, accessing Vendor performance at regular intervals and Vendor payments
•Co-ordination between recruitment and Vendor team’s
•Should have experience handling Background verification process in previous organization’s which include drug tests, Criminal verification requirements, Address verification, Education and Employment verifications
•Working with the Advisory panel team for faster case closures of all discrepant cases
•Understanding of the output with regards to Back ground verification that is received from Vendors in terms of Criticality in terms of failure of the Background verification
•Ability to handle Face to Face BGV failure discussions with employees and maintain composure
•Manage inbound/outbound calls for Employment, Education, Reference and Licensing Verification's.
•Maintain effective record keeping for all calls handled. Ensure all verifications sent out are followed up on in a timely manner.
•Quality assurance and data review of information obtained for verification's
•Communicate effectively and efficiently to all parties involved in obtaining verification information.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
• Understanding of general computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and web applications
• Required advance excel skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Prior experience in handling US BGV is essential
• Detail and Goal Oriented
• Works well independently
• Ability to multi-task and manage daily assignments
• Team motivated and able to work well with others
• Experience with working with sensitive data
• 3-5 years of experiences in handling US Background Verification
• Need to work on Night Shift (5 PM to 2 AM or 6 PM to 3 AM)
• Good hands-on knowledge and appreciation of HR processes, policies
• Ability to drive and support change
• Ability to interact confidently with Leaders
• Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
• Flair for engaging with people and developing relationships and ability to work in diverse teams
