Software Engineer Senior

• We are looking for a talented and innovative Technical Anchor to lead our Data Engineering Team focused on operational excellence initiatives.
• As a Technical Anchor, you will drive the technical strategy, design, and implementation of data solutions that optimize operational processes and enhance efficiency across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Data Engineering Team in designing and implementing data solutions that support operational excellence initiatives and drive process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify operational challenges, analyze data, and develop innovative data-driven solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
• Provide technical expertise in data engineering, data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration to support operational optimization efforts.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines, data analytics solutions, and data quality frameworks to streamline operational workflows and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain data-driven dashboards, reports, and performance metrics to monitor operational KPIs and track the impact of data-driven initiatives.
• Mentor team members, foster a culture of technical excellence, and promote best practices in data engineering and operational optimization.

Skills Required:

• Overall 10+ years of experience which includes experience in data engineering, data architecture, and operational excellence initiatives, with a deep understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and experience with data processing frameworks like Spark, Hadoop, or similar technologies.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Data Management role including running queries and compiling data for analytics
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in data design, data architecture and data modeling (both transactional and analytic)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Java
• Exposure to UI like Qliksense, Angular is an added advantage.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with GCP cloud platform and data warehousing solutions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that drive operational efficiency.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with a track record of leading technical teams and driving operational excellence initiatives.
