ITSM Integration Developer
Location: Remote(Pune or Hyderabad only)
Job Description:
As a ServiceNow ITSM Integration Developer, your role involves designing, developing, and implementing integrations between ServiceNow and other systems within an organization's IT infrastructure. Your responsibilities may include:
- Integration Architecture: Designing the overall architecture for integrating ServiceNow with various IT systems, ensuring that it aligns with the organization's IT strategy and goals.
- Custom Development: Writing custom code, scripts, and configurations to implement integrations between ServiceNow and other systems. This might involve using ServiceNow's scripting languages like JavaScript, Glide, or Jelly.
- API Integration: Leveraging ServiceNow's APIs (such as REST, SOAP, and MID Server) to connect with external systems, enabling data exchange and process automation.
- Data Mapping and Transformation: Defining mappings between data structures in ServiceNow and other systems, and developing transformation logic to ensure seamless data exchange and consistency across platforms.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identifying and resolving issues with integrations, which may involve debugging code, analyzing logs, and collaborating with other teams or vendors.
- Security and Compliance: Ensuring that integrations comply with security standards and policies, implementing authentication mechanisms, encryption, and access controls to protect sensitive data.
- Documentation and Training: Documenting integration designs, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures for reference by other team members. Providing training and support to users and administrators on using integrated systems effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitoring and optimizing integrations for performance, reliability, and scalability. Identifying opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in IT processes.
