General Summary:

This position is for a AWS Data Engineering position  in support for Qualcomm Commercial & IEOT (Industrial & Embedded IoT)  Data Integrations & Engineering . Candidate will be responsible in design & developing on the data pipelines using AWS Glue, Spark, Python with Airflow etc  and should be able to handle any upgrades onthe AWS service like Glue , Airflow  and participate in brining some innovative solutions for the DP, work with architechts on the use cases

This FTE  position will take up the all the Data intgeration & engineering work on the to support existing projects and new initiatives on the S&M Comericial IEOT vertical .

With the overall team occupied completely on the projects, sustainments & support activities, we dont have alternatives and would be forced to either delay or even cut critical projects to accomodate this project activity.

This  position acts as one of the key resources to take the up the complete development activity of the projects  with strong dedication & attain functional expertise & will assist the team in data delivery, data quality, etc.

5+ yrs experience with Thorough understanding of AWS from data engineering and tools standpoint of view. Deep experience in another cloud helps too.
• Experience in AWS Glue, Spark, Python with Airflow in design and development of data pipelines. Expertise in Informatica Cloud is beneficial. 
• Advanced/Intermediate Data Modeling (Master/Ref/ODS/DW/DM) expertise for enabling Analytics on the Platform
• Polyglot persistence – APIs supporting Document and Graph stores
• Experience in industry/market standard Data Quality and Data Catalog tools and processes
• Implementation experience around governance and lifecycle management processes
• Event/message based integrations (inbound and outbound) on the platform
• Data APIs design and development (python, flask/fastapi) to expose data in the platform

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of work experience in programming, scripting, and/or automation or IT-relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree.
OR
5+ years of work experience in programming, scripting, and/or automation or IT-relevant work experience without a Bachelor’s degree.

• 1+ year of experience with Database Design structures such as Mongo DB, MySQL.
