        Responsible for understanding the FIL IM technology stack, delivery approach, and strategic initiatives, in order to contribute to the definition of an appropriate automation test strategy and approach.

        Responsible for formulating automation test plans, digesting manual functional test case and selecting appropriate cases for automation, creating the automation tests cases, executing the test cases and enhancing automation frameworks.

        Liaison with development managers, architects, delivery leads, business analysts, test managers and manual functional testers.

        Estimation of test automation scope and effort.

        Planning and execution of tests in an efficient and organised way.

        Accurately reporting test preparation and execution progress.

        Promoting the principles and ideals of automation testing and transferring skills to other QA staff as appropriate.

        Maintain a current working knowledge of the key business systems and future developments.

        Work to agreed standards and procedures.

Job Requirements

•         5-7  years of Software testing
Hand on Exp on White Box Testing Experience with Strong knowledge on PL / SQL Skills

•         Experience as an SDET with applicable Java experience

•         Scripting experience in PERL/Python/UNIX

•         Solid grasp of software fundamentals including data structures, algorithms, enterprise message systems etc.

•         Work with development teams to produce testable systems and instrument and automate the testing of front end web and backend services

•         Deep understanding of HTTP, web applications, and service oriented architectures

•         Experience developing with databases and ETL; experience with Oracle is a plus

•         Experience with Scrum or other Agile methodologies

•         Design Reviews in terms of Functionality, Testability, Performance, Scalability and Reliability
