The Credit Risk engineering team is responsible for the credit products and the core movement of money at PayPal. We design, develop, enhance and support processes that power credit decisioning workflows at PayPal. Our solutions need to scale across millions of such interactions globally and integrate with various other vendors while providing high availability to the business.
Your day to day:
As a key member of the credit risk engineering team, you will architect, design, test, deploy and maintain software solutions.
What do you need to bring:
Java Backend
Some SQL knowledge - preferably Oracle
Working knowledge of web technologies (such as HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX) is beneficial
exposture to and working knowledge of genAI and other AI patterns applied towards fin tech.
Ability to work in a fast paced, iterative development environment
Participation in any Open source project is a big plus
