General Summary:

System Performance team (SPT) of systems engineers are driving analysis and defining next-generation architectures for our system-on-chip (SoC) products for the smartphone, tablet, Compute and other product categories. 

Key Responsibility:

•  Mobile Post silicon Validation across PVT (process, voltage, temp) characterization , power optimization

• Analyze power and performance across various workloads (CPU, GPU, NSP, etc), good understanding of power grid

• Able to work with HW Design/SW and other validation teams to optimize / commercialize new HW/SW power features

• Good knowledge of HW/ASIC and functional validation, SW flow , able to read and understand Schematic documents

• Able to debug stability issues on Android OS (root cause analysis for failures)

• Key eye for details and numbers, Isolate failures to be SW or HW related

• Develop and execute test plans to validate performance, power, and voltage stability for ASICs

•  Execute voltage characterization procedures for ASIC verification

•  Develop and maintain automation framework using Python, C++ and Perl

• Able to analyze SoC voltage and clock waveforms (using oscilloscope, etc)

• Develop and execute validation plans to validate performance, power, and stability, to identify and fix design issues to improve the overall product quality

Minimum Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.

7-10 years of experience with Mtech / Btech degree
