Title: Kernel Developer (Linux)
Location : Bangalore
Experience: 3 to 7 years
Qualification: B.E Electrical / Electronics/ Computer Science Engg

Requirements
- Knowledge of C,C++ programming language.
- Experience in developing and debugging linux device drivers
- Sound understanding of Linux bootup sequence
- Experience in Linux Kernel, Board Bringup and kernel porting
- Intimate familiarity with one or more linux distros (eg., debian) and open source eco system (like Yocto)
- Hands on working with various target architectures (ARM, MIPS,X86). Knowledge of Myraid chipsets is plus
- Experience with communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART.
- Experience in working with MTD devices (eg., eMMC)
- Experience in working with Source Control tools (SVN , GIT, etc.,) and documentation tools (eg., doxygen)
Responsibilities
- Developing the device drivers for pheripherals (like Bluetooth, Wifi, USB)
- Porting the software and device drivers to myraid architecures
- Responsible for boot optimization.
- Be innovative to explore new areas of development in kernel area and get those concepts to Bosch products
- Independently debug and validate the software
- Should be able to interact with Electronics team and able to bring up the board
