Job description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides all aspects of Red Hat Linux Server administration for applications in a corporate critical environment.
- Provide RH Server support for the manufacturing sites.
- Assist vendors with software installation on Linux Servers.
- Knowledge of PowerShell, sFTP, ADFS, SCCM, and Networking is a plus.
- Provides technical expertise in the areas of system design, installation, configuration, tuning, capacity planning, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Available for on call 24x7 support at the beginning, later on be part of the following the Sun support organization.
- The ideal person for this position will be considered expert or knowledgeable in the previously mentioned areas with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, have the ability to provide leadership and mentoring, and work within a collaborative team environment.
- Responsible for operational execution / maintenance of applications within infrastructure areas.
