SQL DBA
- Extensive hands-on DBA experience in SQL 2005, 2008, 2008R2 (2012 a plus)
- In depth working knowledge of SSIS
- Base knowledge of the Microsoft Windows Server 2008 operating system
- Oversee and implement backups, clustering, replication
- Experience with backend databases supporting internet facing multi-tiered applications
- Proven strong innovative and analytical ability with extensive implementation skills
- Proven success in performance optimization for OLTP and OLAP applications
- Familiarity / willingness to learn Oracle and MYSQL databases
- Ability to work collaboratively with development teams in a highly dynamic environment
- Ability to work individually or as a member of a team to design, development, implement and maintain relational databases
- Commitment to quality work and high attention to detail
- Possess strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
- Idera Sql Diagnostic Manager a plus
- Experience running dbms in a physical and virtual environment
