Job Summary:
The ServiceNow Custom App Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining custom applications on the ServiceNow platform. This includes gathering requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring the applications integrate seamlessly with existing systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the ServiceNow ecosystem and a strong background in application development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and team members to gather and analyze requirements.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for custom applications.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to custom applications on the ServiceNow platform.
- Stay current with ServiceNow releases and features to ensure optimal application performance and functionality.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
- Adhere to best practices in application development and ServiceNow configurations.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer with a focus on custom application development.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with ServiceNow APIs.
- Experience with ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and IntegrationHub.
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, and CSM.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow data model and CMDB.
- Experience with UI/UX design principles and Service Portal development.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
