Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented ServiceNow Business Analyst with expertise in the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) to support our enterprise ServiceNow implementation and drive alignment between technical teams and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between process, data, and technology, ensuring accurate and efficient use of CSDM standards across the platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements related to CMDB, service mapping, and CSDM-aligned data modeling.
- Analyze and document business processes, workflows, and service relationships.
- Support implementation and governance of CSDM (versions 3.0/4.0+) and ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices.
- Serve as a key liaison between IT and business units, translating business needs into ServiceNow platform solutions.
- Assist in defining and refining Configuration Item (CI) classes, relationships, and service definitions in alignment with CSDM.
- Provide support for audits and CMDB/data quality initiatives.
- Participate in workshops, stakeholder interviews, and design sessions to drive clarity on service taxonomy and data structure.
- Create user stories, acceptance criteria, process documentation, and reporting for CMDB and CSDM-related initiatives.
- Support CMDB health metrics, data integrity, and continuous improvement of service data quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in ServiceNow or ITSM environments.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB and Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and Discovery modules.
- Proven ability to document business requirements, process flows, and user stories.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Performance Analytics, reporting dashboards).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
