In this role you will interact with enterprise merchants and sales/ accounts teams for use-case discovery and partner with the larger product teams and your engineering scrum team to build features collaboratively.

Meet our team

We are the card payment processing team in Braintree. We own the merchant experience from integration to settlement end-to-end, and influence the downstream experiences in post-processing, reporting and disputes too.

In this role you will interact with enterprise merchants and sales/ accounts teams for use-case discovery and partner with the larger product teams and your engineering scrum team to build features collaboratively.

Job Description:

Your day to day:

  • Building and executing on the payment processing product roadmap to create value and remove barriers for merchants
  • Partnering with engineering teams, business analytics, program managers, sales and banking relationships teams to build features collaboratively and inclusively
  • Identifying goals and metrics to drive prioritization and timely delivery of products and experiments
  • Working closely with development teams in an agile environment

What do you need to bring:

  • Prior experience of payments is mandatory for this role including card processing, 3DS, CIT/MIT framework, tokenization, and payment networks
  • Prior experience of working on transaction expense and cost reduction is must for this role
  • Demonstrated experience of keeping the customer experience first and working backwords to create complex product solutions
  • The right candidate should bring strong ownership and execution skills including experience of working with external network partners to launch payment products in geographies, working with multiple cross-functional teams including platform and legal to roll out complex changes
  • Hands on experience to improve checkout flows and knowledge of other merchant facing payment products for digital payments is preferred for a strong candidate
  • Understanding of payment checkout SDK, PCI-DSS compliance, and no-code platforms
  • Understanding of digital wallets is nice to have but not mandatory
  • Understanding or prior experience in payment approval rate analysis and transaction routing
  • Strong in technology – REST API and client server model as you will own payment APIs and business analytics for approval rate analysis
