Specialty Development Practitioner

Job Description:

Data Factory Data Ingestion team is looking for a Data Engineer with minimum of 4-6 years of experience.

• Design and build data pipelines to process and ingest data from one or more file sources
• Identifying, designing, and implementing internal process improvements for optimizing data delivery and automating manual processes
• Analyzing raw data, develop and maintain data pipelines for migration to GCP
• Perform data validation as described in the acceptance criteria
• Facilitate code migration to higher environments
• Work with stake holders including data, design, product and business teams and assist them with data related processes and technical issues
• Participate in iteration cadence activities (Iteration Planning, task estimation, daily scrum, demos, etc.)

 

Skills Required:

• Experience with Big Data Technologies (Hadoop , ETL Tool, Spark. Hive etc..)
• Someone who understands Cloud and has experience working with Cloud Platforms (preferably GCP)

 

Skills Preferred:

ETL Skills: uses programming and tools for data ingestion, configures pipelines, applies transformations and decoding, integrates and fuses data, moves and securely deliver Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases

 

Experience Required:

• Total of 4-6 years IT experience xxxx
• Cloud experience Max 2 years xxxx
• Big Data (Spark, Hadoop, Scala) experience Max 2 years

 

Experience Preferred: Experience in Python, SQL

 

Education Required: BE, MSc IT, MCA or equivalent
