- Creating the overall test strategy and test plans for testing software applications including performance, automation, localization, and internationalization
- Help evaluate 3rd party and/or open-source tools and libraries to help implement quality engineering practices, specifically automation, performance, test data and environment management, and CI
- Carry out automated and manual exploratory testing to ensure software meets business and security requirements and established practices
- Document and archive scripts, test cases, test strategy, defects, acceptance criteria, non-functional artifacts
- Report project/product health to management with regular frequency as per cadence within the project (daily/weekly/monthly/every release)
- Develop code for Test Automation scripts for feature and performance testing using company Test Automation Framework/other standards consistent with company practices
- Demonstrate continuous improvement in working with broader team by measuring and reporting company Product Health metrics and other standard testing metrics as per company standards
- Participate actively in internal technical forums and community meetings to promote enterprise consistency around testing frameworks, tools, and infrastructure
- Reviewing software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, or completeness, or to mitigate risks
Qualifications for automation test lead
8 to 10 years of experience in System Test and test automationTesting & Automation (Selenium, UFT , ROBOT)5+ years of experience with Programming Language such as C#, Java, Python, etc.Understanding of REST APIs and SOAP web services with JSON and XML payloadsExperience in building test/test automation teamsMust have strong collaboration, communication, and hands-on problem-solving skillsExpertise with hands-on knowledge in cloud applicationsShould possess greater insights in R&D product SDLC, STLC, release challenges & quality issuesQualifications
Degree in BE/BTech/MTech/MCARecommended Skills
