Job Description Summary:
What you need to know about the role:• In this role (Manager, Data Science in Global Merchant Lending Credit Risk) you will be responsible for monitoring credit portfolio and acquisition, in particular from the perspective of credit risk, risk appetite, product profitability, product stability, marketing opportunities and collections.
• You will be working closely with commercial and risk partners; you will be included in defining a long-term strategy for this product
• You will responsible for maintenance and expansion of reporting framework with interactive dashboards, decks & alerting mechanisms
• You will manage the team of analysts

Our primary focus is on the strategic development, continuous monitoring, and enhancement of risk management capabilities to ensure the robustness and growth of our lending products.

In this role, you will provide comprehensive insight and recommendations to the stakeholders, you highlight important factors to be taken into consideration in the decision making process.
You will be directly involved into planning and forecasting routines
Your day to day
Manage team of analysts, prioritize their work
Oversight of Credit Risk reporting framework (dashboards, decks and alerting) to able to provide correct, timely and consistent information to stakeholders
Monitor the credit quality of the commercial loan portfolio and propose corrective actions as necessary
Consolidate information related to credit risk, provide comprehensive commentary and explanation in decks and offline communication to stakeholders
Attend regular and ad-hoc meetings to provide quantitative and qualitative updates to business an risk stakeholders
Prioritize and drive internal and external investigation related to data
be involved in the budgeting and forecasting
What do you need to bring
A bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
Prior experience in commercial lending, credit risk management, or a related field.
8+ years post-college working experience within the data-mining, quantitative research or analytics organization. Online Merchant Credit Lending Risk experience is a must.
Must be an intuitive, organized analytical thinker, with the ability to perform detailed analysis.
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills a must including the ability to explain and/or present analysis.
Must have good business judgment with demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically.
Proficiency in analytical and reporting solutions
