Job Description: Mandatory skills (please enter all mandatory skills customer will look for) Solarwinds Software – Strong Design, Implementation and Migration Experience on with BaU support :
- Solarwinds Server and Application Monitor (SAM)
- Solarwinds Network Performance Monitor(NPM)
- Solarwinds Web Performance Monitor (Good to Have)
- Solarwinds Network Traffic Analyzer (Good to Have)
- Solarwinds Virtualization Manager
- Solarwinds Storage Managar (Profiler)
- Exposure and Experience in handling Solarwinds Enterprise Systems Management(ESM) tools in design, implementation, migration and support
- Essential knowledge on Operating Systems, Networking, Applications, and protocols such as SNMP, WMI etc.,
- Migration of customer estate from any other ESM tool to Solarwinds
- On-boarding of enterprise assets (servers, network , storage and backup) to Solarwinds platform
- Configuration of threshold and monitoring parameters for proactive and predictive monitoring
- Monitoring Alerts - utilization of CPU / Memory and Disk space usage of servers
- Application monitoring - IIS traffic monitoring, SQL (Query monitoring) and Exchange -Mail box monitoring
- Monitoring of Windows Services - Alerts for services up / down status.
- Monitoring of Network devices - Routers, Switches, Load balancers, ASA Firewall.
- Net flow Analysis - Utilization reports , Top IP talkers , Identifying Hikes i.e. Threshold usage and monitoring
- IP Management - Adding IP addresses and subnets, Managing Assigned / free IP's and subnets.
- Application and System Event ID monitoring using SAM template, Create custom template for specific event ID's and monitoring.
- Configuring SAM - Application Monitoring for various application based usages. Scan node for applications at intervals by configuring polling intervals
- Setting up of dashboard views / custom views for specified user views based on requirements.
- Setting up of custom views to web based monitoring.
- Configuration of Additional polling based on requirement
- Exposure on other ESM tools from Client, BMC such as Client OM, Client Sitescope, BMC BPPM will be a plus
