We have a requirement for an application administrator profile (PeopleSoft). Candidates with infrastructure background and UNIX competency shall be preferred who are willing to work for PeopleSoft domain.

Application Administrator

• Should have 5+ years' experience in Admin Role preferably PeopleSoft (preferred) or it can be any other n-tier system.
• DBA knowledge from application administration perspective. DBA experience is a close match.
• Use of, and experience with using SQL in an Oracle or Sybase environment.
• Experience working on UNIX systems. UNIX Admin experience is close match.
• Knowledge of and experience with writing and executing UNIX Shell scripts.
• Understanding of both physical and logical n-tier system with infrastructure background.
• Experience working with Weblogic, Tuxedo application servers.
• Good hands on experience in Identifying, troubleshoot, and resolving issues within the Application, Batch, File and Database servers.
• Helping to manage and administer Windows servers with regards to application setup.
• Assist DB, UNIX and other infra teams to perform their maintenance activities by analysing and taking decisions from application perspective.
• Experienced in using 3rd party tools for batch scheduling like Control M.
• Monitor Production Schedule Jobs.
• Help Technical team to migrate the approved code to Production.
• Planning environment availability for end users.
• Experience with DB refreshes from application perspective. Ability to perform post refresh activity on non-production environments.
• Work closely with the Database Administrators, Security Administrators, Developers and Functional Specialists to configure the PeopleSoft environments. 
• Administer and support tools and utilities that are utilized by development teams.
• Knowledge about file transfers, SSH etc.
• Ensure high quality support, high availability, scalability and responsiveness to meet end user needs in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment.
• Previous experience in a global firm with exposure to support project activities
• Ability to logically troubleshoot technical problems. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Able to work independently and with a team
• Strong level of verbal and written communication skills
