JD: Senior Software developer
Senior developer with 5-12 yrs of experience, This role will analyze requirements and design solutions for approved projects and change requests of moderate to high complexity and risk; Formulate/define system scope and objectives; Design/develop system, application and program code.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Object Orientated software design and development
•Contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of web/windows based applications
•Participate in design reviews and mentor junior developers
•Perform code reviews
•Provide development support for operations
•Release management working in conjunction with build engineers
•Additional projects as requested and assigned
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
•Bachelors in Computer Science or related
•5+ years hands on software development experience
•2 +years' experience working with databases (SQL SErver 2012/2008/2005, SSIS)
•Experience working with large sets of data
•Experience with Web 2.0 user interface design
•Strong analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting skills; excellent troubleshooting skills
•Excellent written and verbal communications skills
•Experience with the following technologies C#, .NET, MVC Frameworks, JavaScript Frameworks (JQUERY), CSS
•Must be well organized and detailed oriented
•Flexibility to work overtime to meet departmental goals
•Must be able to succeed in a dynamic team environment
•Experience with MSAccess and VB/ASP/COM applications is plus
