Visual Basic Production Support
In this role, you will be responsible for handling, maintain & support VB applications in production environment with little bit of L3 (minor enhancement) work.
Responsibilities:
• Perform Visual Basic application support
• Manage and resolve production incidents. Covers system outages, job failures, system defects, data defects and end user support. Users who contact directly regarding issues.
• Execute and manage day-to-day operations via ticketing tools
• Problem Management: Track, record, and process all recurring tickets against the application via the tools.
• Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment
• Ability to acquire business domain knowledge quickly and effectively to take a role of subject matter expert for multiple applications\ Deep understanding of the support process
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work against deadlines/priorities
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
• BE / B.Tech
• Preferred qualifications
• Self-motivated " Visual Basic Developer" with excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must have strong experience in VB, and SQL.
• Perform VB application support which is built on Visual Basic
• Experience in production support
• Good team player& can work as individual contributor
