Software Engineer Senior

Job Description:

• This position is in Payments team, IT - FBS Chennai.
• Requires a Full Stack Developer with an experience in developing applications/ microservices in an agile product team using Java, React, Kotlin along with latest frameworks, and libraries using Sql / NoSql database technologies and deploy it in a cloud environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Should actively involve in developing solution and supporting Global Payment Team
• actively develop/support solutions with Test Driven Development and pair programming model
• Should actively involve in developing Proof of Concepts (PoC) as required
• Should actively involve in technology migrations due to technology/infrastructure upgrades
• Should actively participate in product teams agile ceremonies
• Should have a strong troubleshooting and problem resolution skills with commitment to quality and project timelines Collaborate with other members of team, product manager and support team in fixing the issues promptly.
• Should have an experience working with continuous integration, continuous deployment model and DevSecOps tools
• Should possess excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Should have a strong interpersonal skills and ability to work individually and/or with a team

 

Skills Required:

• 7+ years of experience in developing, implementing and supporting software applications
• 5+ years of work experience in React
• 5+ years of work experience in Java, Kotlin
• 5+ years of work experience in Spring Platform (Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, Spring Cloud)
• 5+ years of work experience in Microservice architecture and SOAP or REST APIs
• 4 + years of Cloud Native Development experience on Pivotal Cloud Foundry Platform or GCP
• 5+ years of work experience in Sql and/or MongoDB

 

Skills Preferred:

• 5+ years of work experience in Agile project involvement, Software Craftsmanship, unit, integration, regression, user testing and load testing (experience with TDD - JUnit, Selenium), code quality tools (42Crunch, SonarQube, CheckMarx, etc…), Github, Jenkins, Maven, FOSSA, Gradle, etc…

 

Experience Required:

• 7+ years of experience in developing, implementing and supporting software applications

 

Education Required:

• Bachelors or Masters in computer science or equivalent
