Cassandra DBA:
Primary Responsibilities:
• Basic/Intermediate knowledge on Cassandra Data Modeling.
• In-depth knowledge on Cluster Maintenance & Cluster Setup.
• In-Depth knowledge Consistency levels & Node down issues.
• In-Depth knowledge on troubleshooting ( Read & Write Latency Issues).
• Intermediate knowledge on Scripting (Shell/Python).
• Basic/Intermediate knowledge on Opscenter Storage Cluster.
• Strong knowledge on tombstone & repair & Compaction issues.
• Basic knowledge on Spark.
• Strong knowledge on Fix-Pack/Upgrade of DSE.
• Good Team player and strong knowledge on process oriented activities.
Additional Responsibilities:
• In-depth knowledge on Spark & Scala.
• Basic/Intermediate knowledge on "Understanding of retail based Env criticality".
• Jenkins Job Integration to Cassandra.
• Basic idea on Docker based Env's.
• Knowledge on other nosql databases like Postgres, MongoDB, mysql, Redis.
• Expertise in Cloud technologies, preferably GCP.
