Software Engineer Senior

Job Description:

• Software engineer senior Self starter who can work with minimal supervision and enable to help others in delivering a common objective.
• Exposure to eXtreme Programming (XP) practices including Pair/Mob programming and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Experience with developing and deploying to cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Microsoft Azure will be an added advantage.
• Experience with JIRA Agile, backlogs, iterations, user stories, or similar Agile Tools Highly effective in working with other technical specialists, Product Managers, and Operations Engineers.
• Passion for learning and willingness to work in a pair programming environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to manage changing priorities.
• Strong teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and take initiative when solving unexpected problems.
• Understanding of fundamental data modelling (RDBMS / No SQL)
• Experience in development of microservices

 

Skills Required:

• Java, Microservices
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design Principles , Spring/Spring Boot /RESTful services development Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases Jenkins more specific to CI/CD, TDD, Cloud experience ( Preferable GCP, others Azure, Aws should be fine)

 

Skills Preferred:

• Message streaming - kafka/pubsub Monitoring tool development (Splunk, Dynatrace, VictorOps), Knowledge of code quality tools like Sonarqube,

 

Experience Required:

• 6+ years of expereince.

 

Experience Preferred:

• Well versed with Agile development usage of Jira/Rally tools, adaptable to changing priorities and quick learning aptitude

 

Education Required:

• E/B.Tech, MCA
