Specialty Development Consultant

Job Description:

• The ideal candidate will have a very strong J2EE technical background with Angular.
• Lead the development team of software engineers to build software application using micro services using Java, Spring Boot and deploy them using CI/CD Pipeline.
• Work directly with product owners, business customers, architects to design, develop and deploy the product in Production environment and creating a highly collaborative / motivated team culture.
• As a consultant in the PDO team on designing and develop new/enhance UI features using Angular with high code quality standards supporting the data analytics product.
• Identify, develop, evaluate, and summarize Proof of Concepts to prove out solutions.
• Test and compare competing solutions and report out a point of view on the best solution.
• Able to guide and improve incident management, deployment, root cause analysis.
• Able to identify and deploy new tools and ways of working that enable the team to move faster / with greater agility.

 

Skills Required:

• Minimum 5 Years of in-depth experience in Java/Spring Boot
• Minimum 3 Years of Experience in Angular ability to develop rich UI screens and custom/re-usable components.
• Minimum 2 Years of GCP experience working in GCP Big Query, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud Run, PubSub.
• Minimum 2 of experience in using CI/CD pipelines like Tekton.
• 1-2 Years of experience in deploying google cloud services using Terraform.
• Experience mentoring other software engineers and delivering systemic change across teams

 

Experience Required:

• 5+ years of experience in J2EE

 

Education Required:

• E or Equivalent
