• 4+ years building OO systems with Java with real in depth knowledge of both areas
• 2+ years using a test driven development approach using JMock and JUnit or other similar libraries
• 5+ years web development experience including skills from HTML, JSP, Servlet, JavaScript and so on
• Knowledge of XML and practical experience using it with Java
• Good knowledge of UNIX, Ant, Maven, Grunt, Cruise Control (or similar) and experience of continuous integration
• Hands on experience of RDBMS and SQL
• Spring / other IOC containers
• RESTful Services
• Working Knowledge of Backbone.js & Marionette.js
• Experience of best practices development methodologies. Especially Agile/DSDM/XP
• A working understanding of UML
• IBM WebSphere Portal Server, Websphere 6.0, Websphere 4, I.H.S
• Performance tuning experience
• Practical experience of using the Struts framework
• Oracle / Sybase
