POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
Under the guidance of the IT Leader, the IT Business Analyst will oversee internal teams to ensure the smooth operation and strategic development of the organization's technology infrastructure. This role involves overseeing IT projects, implementing best practices, and aligning IT initiatives with business objectives. The IT Business Analyst will serve as a key liaison between IT and other departments, ensuring that technology solutions meet the evolving needs of the organization.
Principal Activities
- Develop and implement the IT strategy in alignment with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Assess current IT capabilities and identify areas for improvement and investment.
- Create a technology roadmap that outlines short-term and long-term IT initiatives.
- Manage IT projects from planning through execution and delivery, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scope, and establish timelines.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing business needs.
- Oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases, to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Develop and implement IT policies and procedures to ensure data security, compliance, and efficient operations.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate third-party services and tools to enhance IT capabilities.
- Prepare and manage the IT budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Monitor IT expenditures and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Assess and procure hardware and software to meet organizational needs.
- Act as the primary point of contact between IT and other departments, ensuring effective communication of IT initiatives and services.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand their technology needs and develop tailored solutions.
- Present IT strategies and updates to senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to inform IT strategy and operations.
- Analyze IT processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the IT team.
