Purpose of Job:

A key purpose of this role is to provide technical expertise to Palo Alto Firewall, Palo Alto Prisma and Panorama, working with Tech Mahindra's program management teams, helping them understand requirements and security principles.  In addition, this position will be responsible for engaging and collaborating with capability owners across the organization to embed cyber security requirements.

Major Responsibilities

•    Works in active partnership with technical stakeholders (solution, infrastructure, and application architects) to deliver cloud security architecture.

  •    Develops security domain expertise and technical objectives that will enable successful and secure delivery of project and program goals,

•    Is able to understand requirements driven through policy, regulatory and legal mandates and be able to rationalize them with various technology and business leaders

•    Establishes security criteria based on business, compliance, risk reduction and use case. •    Recommends security controls, improvements, upgrades, and/or purchases

•    Build security standards and architecture and engineering patterns around required security controls

•    Look for opportunities to automate security specification and verification in the delivery process

•    Engage with delivery teams to drive empowerment and self-service security knowledge Mandatory Skills

•    Strong experience providing technical security engineering support for complex enterprise security projects/programs

  •    Designing HLD and LLD to secure cloud platform within various IaaS, PaaS, SaaS cloud platforms

•    Strong experience in various NexGen Physical and Virtual Firewalls and Products like Palo Alto, CISCO, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Juniper etc.,

•    Excellent in solution designing, architect role for the huge & complex network environments •    Create Change Implementation plan as per customer requirement.

•    Strong experience with Network Perimeter Security

•    Deploy and support multi-vendor network & security solutions

•    Strong understanding of cyber security defence in depth strategies

•    Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex networking and security problems

•    Deploy and support network and security monitoring & management tools

•    Provide improvement opportunities and recommendations on network and security •    Management of various firewalls, VPNS and security devices

•    Strong experience on Migration, decommission process of the firewalls.

•    Add/edit new and existing rules in Firewall.

•    Coordinating with Change Manager & respective team to process Change request

•    Work with Global IT support groups, OEMs, vendors, partners and service providers

•    Taking initiative on providing recommendations on vulnerabilities / bugs / security practices to be followed / implemented

•    Perform tool evaluation and produce recommendations

•    Learn and keep up-to-date with the latest technology products

•    Fluency with IT governance standards including NIST, CSA, and other technical standards •    Strong Oral and written communications skills to enable effective and meaningful information exchange between technical and non-technical people across multiple levels of organizational structure Competencies and Best Practice

•    Specific experience in architecture, engineering and operational management of large enterprise security engineering teams in Fortune 500

•    Demonstrated hands-on experience in securing on premise and cloud platforms •    Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with private and public cloud computing architectures (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS)

•    Experience as a primary contributor in improving or creating industry security standards and participating in working groups

•    Ability to effectively communicate strategy, or provide clarity to various audiences from Technical architects and software engineers.

•    Execute within a Team of teams and collaborate to deliver desired goals
