Linux Administrator
Job Description -
- Result-driven professional with a verifiable track record in Infrastructure Administration /Infrastructure Solutioning Targeting assignments in Linux, Infrastructure Management (Virtualization) with an organization of repute
- Quarterly updates of security patches for Linux servers
- Installation and hardening of Linux servers
- Strong Knowledge of various protocols and services like TCP/IP, TCP, UDP, IP ICMP, HTTP, HTTPS, DNS, FTP and SSH
- Troubleshooting on Linux, Windows Platform as well as basic networking monitoring all server applications
- Implement Pxe-boot server in Linux with multiple Linux OS
- Bash Shell Scripting for task automation
- Problem determination, Security, Shell Scripting
- Troubleshooting skills using log files and various other tools
- Creating Virtual Machine with VMware server package in Linux
- Manage RHEV and VMware virtualizations
- Quarterly Review H/W Firmware of all servers to vendor
- Refreshment/Upgradation of hardwares as per customer request
- Creating shell script based on customer and team requirement
