Devops Engineer

Job Description :
- Mainly Container Platform Administrator (They call it as Site Resiliency Engineer) who is responsible for making all the Container clusters and Applications Highly available.
- Intermediate level knowledge on Docker engine and its components like Images, Volumes, secrets, etc.
- Treat every Application deployed in Container platform as a Service - This covers deployments, availability and scalability.
- Collaborate with other support teams like Unix, Application teams to quickly resolve any issues that impact availability of Application workloads.
- Awareness of patching and upgrading Clusters and their nodes, version compatibility between all products being used.
- Weekend support is a must.
- Posses Beginner to Intermediate level knowledge on Unix Administration and Application Development for effective collaboration.
- Understand flow of Applications starting from how they are accessed by external customers and all the way through underlying components to quickly resolve issues.
- Awareness on concepts like DNS, Routes, Load balancers, SSL certificates.
- Posses Beginner level knowledge on Latest frameworks like CICD, awareness on Software Development Lifecycle Standards
- Down the lane, become well-versed in Automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, Salt.
