Application Packaging - Windows -- Administrator
Job Description Application Packaging
Should be well versed with end-to-end Application packaging process for Windows, VDI & MAC.
Responsible for Request Validation (Discovery), Technical Review (Application Analysis), Re-packaging of application, Quality Check, Integration Testing with SCCM, facilitating UAT and passing the information to Deployment team to make the application available in Software Center or Casper
Hands on experience in Software distribution, Patch Management using SCCM.
Compatibility Testing of applications which are requested for Windows.
Repackage applications for Windows, Citrix and MAC environment.
Perform smoke testing by manually installing the application on test machines followed by integration testing once Deployment team has created the package/program in SCCM.
UAT Coordination with Application owner / Application requestor(s) for package functionality / usability testing.
Trouble shoot and resolve complex packaging issues
Advantageous to have scripting skills with Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), PowerShell, VB Scripting.
