 Major Job Responsibilities As a ServiceNow Pre-Sales Senior Domain Architect you will lead complex opportunities and tenders as well as direct customer opportunities, maximising profitability while controlling the solution integrity
Responsibilities will include qualification of opportunities, solution design, project and support estimates, customer presentations, building relevant demos and proof of concepts, providing ServiceNow SME knowledge to the delivery practice, answering tender responses and creating supporting proposals
Supporting responses to Request for Information/Proposals ensuring they align to our standards and support the whole bid in delivering a solution which supports the customers ServiceNow strategy
The role holder will possess proven Pre-Sales skills whilst working closely with the sales team on existing opportunities and will be used to inputting into the complete sales life cycle
The role holder will focus on design and architecture of ServiceNow solutions to contribute to winning bids and proposals to customers (new and existing)
Client facing - determine their technical and business requirements ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution Produce compelling sales proposals/commercial and technical documentation outlining the cost savings and business benefits to clients of using ServiceNow Assume responsibility for running a solution bid team, where relevant Interfacing with the implementation / project team, articulating customer requirements, to ensure a smooth transition from Sale to Deliver Ability to demonstrate ServiceNow products and technologies effectively to audiences of varied technical knowledge The ServiceNow Senior Domain Architect is responsible for providing thought leadership and strategic direction in the identification, design, and implementation of technologies to support the achievement of specific business objectives
He/she is expected to provide leadership in defining sound, strategic technical solutions for high visibility, critical software solutions
Provide technical leadership and guidance of ServiceNow based solutions from early phase proposals Understand customer objectives to ensure solution recommendations are relevant and add value to the organization
Evaluate ServiceNow products and solutions that might improve or enhance services provided ServiceNow Implementation, Upgrade and maintenance experience with overarching understanding of ServiceNow Enterprise product suite and architecture
Leverage and integrate existing technologies to satisfy customer business objectives Experience to Develop and manage application code, user interface, and third-party integration components
Deep understanding of REST, WSDL, JSON and ability to integrate with other third-party applications like SPLUNK, APP Dynamics etc
Fundamental understanding of the key technologies relevant to ServiceNow integration solutions (SSO, SAML, SSL, Web Services, LDAP, JDBC, ODBC, REST) Understanding of custom integration components and experience in integrating legacy systems with ServiceNow using mid-server, web services, chatops, email and other relevant technologies Ability to review requirements and ensure sufficient detail for accurately estimating cost model
Fully understand business functionality, pain points, and areas of improvements Ability to apply business concepts into a technical solution Experience in implementing the Core Process Areas: Incident, Problem, Change, Service CatLog, Request, and CMDB Pre-sales experience of more than ITSM capability in the IT Workflow; ITAM, ITOM, SecOps, ITBM, IRM
Has proven ability to Design, prototype, implement, test, and deploy business rules, technical solutions, like client scripts, UI pages/actions/policies, scheduled job, import sets, ACLs and notifications
Develop custom applications within ServiceNow including integrations with other applications
Manage application code, user interface, and third-party integration components
Experience in working on creation and customization of complex workflows and custom workflow activities Understanding of ServiceNow best practices (including scripting, security, implementation) Working knowledge of Performance Analytics and Reports Understanding of complex UI customization and UI macros
Hands-on experience in Service CatLog /Service Portal modules Experience in Creating and updating sets to move customizations between ServiceNow instances Ability to document, maintain and update policies, procedures and controls for the operation of the ServiceNow platform and its SDLC Maintain deep and comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNows capabilities / constraints Qualifications/Key Attributes More than 10 years of experience in the IT industry Proven track record of technical leadership in delivering complex implementations Working knowledge of ITIL Processe
