Azure Solution Architect
Azure solution Architect (JOB DESCRIPTION)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Works in a highly strategic, highly consultative framework with the largest, most complex customers and prospects. Applies a highly advanced knowledge of solutioning principles to a variety of sales opportunities with high MRR potential. Helps to align customer business strategies and IT architecture via Rackspace products and services. Works closely with senior leadership of client organizations as well as key technical personnel. Works in close collaboration with sales teams to design technical solutions for specific opportunities, develop account strategies, uncover additional business opportunities, and drive expansion within multiple business units inside of an Enterprise organization. Leads internal and external efforts to evolve and promote the role of the Solutions team.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- A) Azure Solution Architect will have experience / expertise in the following:
- (i)Total 10+ years of experience and 5+ years' experience in Cloud and Data center migration project as solution architect
- (ii)In-depth understanding of compute, storage, network components including backup, monitoring and DR environment requirements
- (iii)Experience and understanding of large-scale applications portfolio in enterprise-wide environment (including migration of on-premise workloads to the cloud) required
- (iv)Deep domain expertise of cloud application development solutions (e.g. IaaS, Serverless, APIManagement), container orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes, Cloud Foundry), continuous integration technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Spinnaker, Azure for DevOps, Chef, Puppet), web application server technologies, cloud application design, software architecture and practices(design/development/deployment, Agile, SCRUM, ALM), breadth of technical experience, and technical aptitude to learn and adjust to new technologies and cloud trends required
- (v)Experience and understanding of large-scale application development projects (including keycoding skills and practices) required
- (vi)First point of escalation for customer
