SDN/NSX
Network Team Lead (SDN, NSX)
Network team lead would be engaged for the entire period of the project and would be responsible for gathering AS-IS data, understand technical constraints, assisting in new design, successful implementation of proposed design, migration of network services and decommissioning of old infrastructure. Would also be responsible for creating detailed as built document and troubleshooting procedures with the support of technical writers.
- Experience in configuring / in depth knowledge on Software Defined Networking (SDN)
- Design and Develop SDN controller software components, understand and influence the SDN space and drive solutions.
- Expertise in design, implement and migratingthe Software Defined Networking solutions including VMware NSX and vCloud Network and Security services.
- Experience in Configuration to Setup NX-OS like ISSU & SSO in Nexus 7k & 5k.
- Extensive technical knowledge and experience of Implementing and managing large-scale, highly available, Internet facing Datacenter networks
- Experience with a broad range of network hardware, software
- Good understanding of network configuration and troubleshooting on a range of networking products, architectures
- Configuration, Installation & troubleshooting of LAN extension over WAN (Cisco, Client, Arista, etc.)
- Hands on experience in Configuring Cisco Nexus Series Switches or equivalent of other OEMs
- Solid understanding of virtualization and network integration with VMware infrastructure.
- Very good knowledge of Cisco Unified Communications Systems and extensive hands on experience using SIP as well as other VOIP aspects.
- Layer 2 Domain: Knowledge of different STP Instances, Loop Avoidance Mechanisms, VTP, Layer 2 Optimization
- Layer 3 Domain: Knowledge of Dynamic Routing protocols: EIGRP, OSPF, BGP
- Hands on experience in configuring VSS, HSRP, vPC, ECMP, OSPF, BGP, IP SLA, Redistribution and Netflow.
- Thorough understanding of Structured Cabling.
- Hands on experience in configuring QoS in Enterprise Networks , Understanding Application requirements & configure QoS in the Network accordingly
- Cloud experience desired(migrating from traditional datacenter to cloud services)
