Technical specification of the application/product:

Application/Product is already in place and built-up using Core Java, EJB, JMS and Spring REST/Boot and now client wants to add some new features and modules on top of that so there is a need for new development work which needs new hot skills like Spring REST/Boot and as a middleware EJB/JMS will also be a part of this new system.


Must have the following skills & experience:

5+ years of experience in Java development.
Prior experience in developing applications for prepaid card processing is good to have.
Experience of translating business requirements to high/low level designs. Experience of components and application level designs. Experience of industry standard design and coding standards.
Must have strong experience in below skills

Backend Skills:

• Core Java 7/8, Concurrent Package, Design Patterns, Collections.
• Spring REST webservices, Spring Boot
• Maven/ Ant/ Gradle
• Eclipse / IntelliJ

Highly Desirable:

• EJB (Should be willing to learn and trained if not worked upon)
• Multithreading
• JMS (RabbitMQ, Kafka, ActiveMQ)

Nice to Have:

• Unix shell scripting
• Spring Security / Application Security
• XML Parsers/Schemas

Frontend Skills:

• Javascript/Jquery/AngularJS

Nice to Have:

• Velocity/Groovy/Free Marker.

Database:

• Experience in database like Oracle, SQL Server etc. and able to write complex queries, joins, indexes, procedures and functions.

Methodology:

• Agile/Scrum & SDLC

Responsibilities :

It is a mid-level position, effective in managing the assignment on Agile sprints/ projects, delivery work assigned to ensure delivery from team.
Work closely and coordinate with testers, BA, Product and DBA.
Keeping a healthy team environment while consistently exceeding the expectations (productivity, quality, timeliness & capacity utilization) of the stakeholders.
