UI Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a UI designer with strong interests and capabilities in the design and development of engaging user interfaces. The ideal candidate will thrive in a work environment that requires strong problem solving skills and independent self-direction, coupled with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. This individual excels at providing both highly analytical as well as highly creative ideas to a design engagement. The candidate will also have extensive experience in a fast-paced and innovative development environment. A thorough understanding of contemporary Interface Design/ Responsive Design and Information Architecture methodologies is a must.

Required Skills :

•         Proficient within the Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator

•         Recommended Software: Flash Catalyst, AfterEffects

•         Ability to illustrate and animate in any software is a plus

•         Ability to receive critique and feedback from development team members: UI Designers, Developers, Project Managers, Clients, and Stakeholders

•         Ability to stay organized, follow through with tasks, and to work on multiple projects at once

•         Have an upbeat, positive attitude and enjoy working on a high-energy team

•         Have an interest in new technologies and design trends

Additional exposure and working knowledge in :

•         3D modelling, After Effects, rendering and animation

•         HTML, CSS, Rails, JavaScript/JQuery, ObjectiveC (iOS), C++ (Android) a plus

•         Motion graphics design and production
