Application Developer

 Role Description :
Design, build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Must have Skills :AbInitio

Good to Have Skills :UNIX Shell Scripting, Java Enterprise Edition, Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL

Job Requirements :

Key Responsibilities :
A:Code,test,modify,debug,document and implement Ab Initio Graphs utilizing the GDE environment and EME
B:Document detailed application specifications; create and translate technical requirements into programmed application modules
C:Develop scripts to automate the execution of Ab Initio graphs using shell scripts under Unix environment
D:Help develop test cases and plans to complete the unit testing and support integration testing E:Participate in design reviews / code reviews

Technical Experience :
A:Minimum 4-5 years of Application Development work experience
B:Minimum 4 years of experience in design and delivery of ETL process development using Ab Initio, Unix shell script
C:Proven track record of implementation and delivery of ETL applications
D:Hands-on experience in PL/SQL programming is preferred
E:Knowledge of application development using Agile methodologies is a plus
F:Experience in technologies such as Pentaho,Java,J2EEE,CTL-M,XML,PERL,Messaging, is a plus
