Sr Engineer Azure, Vmware, windows
Responsibilities / key result / decision areas (outcomes)
Support virtualization, datacenter and cloud technologies ( Azure)
Perform analysis and diagnosis of complex problems
Deploy and support multi-vendor virtualization, converged / hyper-converged infrastructure, SAN / NAS, and operating systems
Deploy and support cloud services
Prepare SOPs, process and technical documentation
Provide improvement opportunities and recommendations
Perform product evaluation and propose recommendations
Work with Global IT support groups, OEMs, vendors, partners and service providers
Provide training to operations team (L1)
Learn and keep up-to-date with the latest technology products
Technical & Functional Skills
Ability to communicate in English effectively both verbally and in writing
Proven ability to document technical information for training, technical operations run books, and knowledgebase
Proven ability to create technical design documentation using MS Visio
Strong analytical skills for solving technical issues, isolation of application / network performance / server / storage issues
Proven ability to work cross functional with application, network, security and workplace teams
Strong understanding of all current technologies and ability to ramp quickly on emerging technologies
Proven ability to work on multi-vendor network, security, compute and virtualization technologies
education, qualifications, and certifications
BE / B.tech
/ B.Sc
in EXTC/ Computer Science / Information Technology
VCP / MCSE - - required
Professional certification on Azure - required
Certification in Enterprise storage -- would be an advantage
Windows / Linux certification – would be an advantage
ITIL certification – would be an advantage
Experience
Experience on MS Azure management
Experience on hypervisors : EXSi/Hyper-V
Experience with vCenter , SCVMM
Experience and strong knowledge on Microsoft Identity Manager
Experience on AD/DNS/DHCP management
Experience in LAN & IP Routing, load balancers firewalls etc.
Experience with Enterprise Server, Storage and converged infrastructure Technologies
Knowledge and experience on private cloud computing infrastructure and orchestration
