Oracle DBA
EXP- Should have atleast 8 years of Oracle DBA exp (24*5 support) and should be able to perform the following activities:
Manage Oracle database of version & upgrades
Configure and maintain database servers and processes.
Monitor system's health, performance & Jobs
Take backups, restore Databases and recovery models of Oracle databases including strategy for same
Ensure high levels of performance, availability, sustainability and security
Database refreshes (using datapump)
Performance maintenance (statistics refresh, tables defragmentation,)
OEM monitoring (space, top SQL executions, etc.)
Storage space management (tablespace space addition, OS Space monitoring)
Capacity planning for DB servers for new projects & existing applications In coordination with Application teams
Backups monitoring (RMAN and datapump)
Co-ordination with LINUX/UNIX Admins for DB/OS maintenance like patching, reboot, etc.
Automation (Shell scripting and coding for refresh automation, maintenance activities, etc.)
Performance management (tuning of slow running queries with SQL Plan management, etc.)
Trouble shooting ETL job failures and slow running jobs
Release deployments (data fixes, changes to database objects)
Access provision & removal, security & entitlement review
