Oracle DBA Adminstrator
Skill-Oracle DBA Adminstrator
Experience-2-4 yrs
Location-Kolkata
Roles and Responsibilities:-
1. Experience in core Oracle DBA knowledge for database version (10g, 11g)
2. Data replication technology - Oracle Dataguard and Oracle Goldengate
3. Database High availability - Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) (Hands-on mandatory), Knowledge of OS clusters (Hands-on not required)
4. Capability to tune Oracle database performance.
5. Database Backup using RMAN, non-RMAN
6. Database Restoration from RMAN backup (a part of RAC to non-RAC cloning)
7. Database cloning (non-RAC), RAC to non-RAC cloning using Hot backup/Cold backup etc.
8. Strong knowledge of OS commands in Linux, Client-UX/AIX.
9. Monitoring alerts and taking necessary action. Capability to build customized alerts desired.
10. Working knowledge of shell scripting required.
11. DBA should have strong communication skills, which is a priority.
12. Should be prepared to work in shifts on a 24/7 basis.
13. Unix, Linux Shell scripting is a must.
14. Programming knowledge of java/python/scala is a added advantage.
15. Database patch application & hardening
16. Creation of Standard Operation Procedure
17. Understanding of Oracle Database License and adherance to it.
18. Oracle Certification is preferred
