Job Description
 
Good experience of Oracle Installation on Linux and windows.
Creating change requests and service requests for maintenance activities.
Cloning Oracle Databases and refreshing the schemas as per the application Team requirements.
Refreshing database schema using Export/Import, Data Pump utility as per the project requirements.
Creating and providing access permission to users, roles
Good knowledge on oracle database architecture and it's components
Managing logical structures such as tablespaces, segments, extents and blocks
Creation of new oracle database manually and using DBCA utility
Management of Database space, Table space Growth Monitoring, Datafile additions.
Good knowledge on database backup and recovery (RMAN, Export/Import & Data pump).
Configuring LISTENER and TNS files.
Cloning the database using RMAN.
Database recovery using physical and RMAN backups.
Performing RMAN Backup and recovery using catalog database.
Rebuilding the indexes and analyze the tables for better performance.
Gathering database statistics, explainplan, STATSPACK, AWR and ADDM.
Maintenance of Oracle Database on the Production, developement and testing environments.
Configuring Oracle Data Guard for Physical Standby and also handled concepts like transferring .Online RLF to standby machines to make sure zero percent data loss.
Monitoring data guard activities plan for switchover AND switchback as and when required.
