  • Direct people management - coaching, mentoring, performance management and development.

  • Partnering with key stakeholders where required to support/devise and execute APAC Compensations/benefits strategies to solidify Verizon’s commitment to acquire, retain and develop a world-class workforce across region

  • Overseeing, evaluating, designing, and delivering Total Rewards programs (e.g. base pay, short-term incentives, sales incentives, global benefits, severance, recognition and retention rewards).

  • Monitoring the effectiveness of compensation and benefits policies, guidelines, and procedures and recommending plan revisions.

  • Partnering with Talent Management and HRBP’s and extended functional team to align approaches to performance with compensation and benefits practices as well as facilitating execution via the development of world-class compensation education programs such as - Compensation solutions, policies, market research/trend analysis and program design and development

  • Managing Compensation transaction analysis and measurement reporting and Country benefits management

  • Process implementation and management of Total Rewards Compliance for all countries in Region

  • Leading Global Policy Implementation at Regional / Country Level

  • Partnering with International Benefits Manager for Mergers and Acquisitions for the region

Where you'll be working...

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

You’ll need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Six or more years of experience managing total rewards (i.e., Compensation, Benefits & wellness) in APAC region OR in International for MNC’s or Larger Enterprise.

  • Six or more years’ experience in compensation solutions, policies, market research/trend analysis and program design and development

  • Three or more years of experience directly (or indirectly) managing a diverse (geographically dispersed) team.

  • Three or more years of experience managing medium to large integration projects from an Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) perspective

  • Experience managing complex Total rewards or HR processes and projects across a broad geography.

Even better if you have one of more of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy or related field.

  • Eight or more years of experience in total rewards management.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills:calculating trending/analysis and collating data for operations reviews/scorecard reporting – must be competent with data and reporting associated technology platforms/tools (i.e. MS PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, Tableau, Qlik).

  • Advanced skills to perform complex, full-scope of work with the Compensation and benefits discipline across the APAC region.

  • Knowledge of extended HR functional areas: HR Business Partner, Talent Development/Management, Learning and Development.

  • High level of attention to detail, flexibility to changing priorities abilities.

  • Ability to work across multiple stakeholder and clients in a complex, multi-tier organization.

  • Oral and written communications skills.

  • Skilled in providing and analyzing management information and presenting this information to senior leadership level.

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies.

  • Positive can-do personality ability who sees customer satisfaction as a key priority.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously - orientated on results.

  • Ability to cultivate strong partnerships, interface, communicate and influence at all levels of the organization.

  • Organizational and interpersonal skills.
